PASTORAL TEAM

Adam Romans

lead pastor

Adam Romans joined the pastoral team at Parkside Church in 2008 and has served as Lead Pastor at Parkside Green since 2013. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and holds a master’s degree in leadership. Before coming to Parkside, Adam served in both youth and music ministry.

As Lead Pastor, Adam provides overall leadership and direction for Parkside Green, with a particular focus on preaching, teaching, and helping shape the vision and direction of the church.

Adam and his wife, Christina, have three children: Lydia, Ben, and Julia. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, following just about any sport, and spending time with people

Steve Moroney

Pastor of Adult Ministries

Steve Moroney serves as Pastor of Adult Ministries at Parkside Green. He earned his B.A. from Duke University, master’s degrees from Wheaton Graduate School and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in theology from Duke University. Before joining the staff at Parkside Green full-time, Steve served as a professor of theology at Malone University for 25 years.

As Pastor of Adult Ministries, Steve helps provide leadership and teaching for adult discipleship and ministries throughout the church.

Steve and his wife, Sue, have been married for 40 years and have two married daughters, Grace and Joy, and five grandchildren.

Issac Van Epps

Pastor of Counseling and Care

Isaac Van Epps serves as Pastor of Care and Counseling at Parkside Green. He earned his B.S. and M.Div. from Liberty University, completed the CCEF certificate program in biblical counseling, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary.

Isaac has served in ministry since 2008, including as a missionary in Southeast Asia, a chaplain in jails and hospitals, and a chaplain in the U.S. Army. Since 2015, he has served in pastoral care and counseling roles at several churches and currently serves on the board of Fieldstone Counseling. Isaac is passionate about equipping the church to care for one another through the interpersonal ministry of God’s Word.

Isaac married his high school sweetheart, Eva, and they have two sons, Elijah and Samuel. In his spare time, he enjoys reading the Puritans and spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and fishing

Mike Terry

Pastor of Kids and Families

Mike Terry joined the staff at Parkside Green in 2019, initially serving as Youth Pastor before transitioning to Pastor to Kids and Families in the summer of 2025. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Theology and Philosophy from Malone University and his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.

As Pastor to Kids and Families, Mike provides pastoral leadership and direction for Parkside Green’s ministries to children, students, and families, with a particular focus on helping parents disciple their children and helping young people grow as committed followers of Jesus Christ.

Mike and his wife, Autumn, have three sons: Eli, James, and John Mark. In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, reading good books, having deep conversations, and all things Northeast Ohio.

Alex Proctor

Student Ministry RESIDENT

Alex Proctor was brought on as the High School resident in July of 2025. He has been involved in high school student ministry for the past 9 years in a volunteer role, and deeply cares about building disciples of Christ through intentional relationship. He and His wife Kayla live in Akron with their daughter Eleanor. They love to travel and enjoy hosting gatherings in their home.
